From 1 February, the cash handling fee threshold is changing from $25,000 to $75,000 per charge month. This is very competitive and gives Westpac a high threshold for cash handling, where a fee applies. It also significantly reduces the number of businesses who’ll get charged this fee!
The Business Excellence Awards are about to begin again for 2010, with the first call for entries starting in February for North Shore, Waitakere and Manukau in Auckland.
The new Business Online Saver account is perfect for small businesses, as it’s on-call with a competitive flat rate of 3.40% p.a.*
This means that you can prepare for regular payments like tax and GST so you can to make your money work harder for you. You’ll need a Westpac business transaction account and online banking access to operate the account.
Did you know that small businesses can use a Debitplus Visa card with your Westpac business transaction account? It’s a great way to get the best of both worlds by having credit card functionality while still using your own money. You can even make purchases online, by mail or over the phone.
