The Apollo Health and Wellness Centre at Albany, Auckland, is a superb looking building that teems with life and yes, wellbeing!

The purpose-built complex houses an integrated family health centre offering a full range of health services including a general practice as well as accident and medical services, specialists, pharmacy, physiotherapy, dentists, audiology, radiology, a gym, laboratory, podiatry and other services according to the A – Z guide to the Centre.

The specialist centre is the brainchild of Simon Kay, GP, and Min Lo, his wife who is a sexual health physician, together with Min’s sister Chern Lo and her partner Lisa Meyer, who are both gynaecologists.

The three women doctors all work together, while Simon is a part time GP in West Auckland.
The women all shared a vision of establishing an integrated women’s health centre to provide a one-stop shop for their patients so they started looking for a suitable property.
